It all went downhill when 14.4 modems dropped to $100.  Before that, a good
ol' USRobotics modem set someone back $750+.  We need a test for getting
your internet license that includes acronyms, Hayes modem commands,
nettiquette and a waiver against sending everyone you know every joke you
get that you can't confirm is under 1 month old.  Probably should also
includes www.snopes.com as required reading as well.
