[Mimedefang] Training SA when mail is not stored locally?

Hi,

I'm running an MD/SA gateway for a customer where mail is scanned,
tagged, and forwarded directly to their servers (nothing is stored
locally), but I need to train SpamAssassin and beef up its bayes db.
How do people typically gather ham and spam to train the box under these
conditions? Is it possible to do it without too much intervention on
the customer's part?

Some of my ideas are:

-Deliver copies of all/some messages for a short time to a local mailbox
where I can sort through it and run sa-learn.

-Have their administrator forward batches of messages to my server. It
would be suboptimal for them to do this much work, and I'm worried that
the extra header info etc might taint the Bayes database (?)

There must be a good/better way tho. Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Joe Arnstein
