[Mimedefang] different time for mimedefang logging then sendmail

In my logs it shows a different time for mimedefang logging the same
message then it does for sendmail:
These messages are right next to each other in mail.log so they should
have the same time.
What could be causing this?

Feb  1 05:36:42 traffic mimedefang.pl[11842]: filter: i115af4D018741: 
discard=1
Jan 31 22:36:42 traffic mimedefang[18743]: i115af4D018741: Discarding
because filter instructed us to
