[Mimedefang] Problem running virus scanner

I don't think I mentioned checking the linking of the command but that's a
good check. You're uvscan is linked to "/lib/tls/libc.so.6" so I assume
"uvscan --noboot -v /tmp" from the command line fails?

If so, does LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc.so.6 uvscan --noboot -v /tmp fix the issue?

First step would be to try and get the vlnxp4432l.tar.Z. I think that
version is linked against the right libraries for RH9. RHES3 is loosely the
same as dealing with RH9.

Second step is to look at the Special Steps for RedHat 9 here:
http://www.peregrinehw.com/downloads/MIMEDefang/INSTALL-MCAFEE and try those
fixes.

Regards,
KAM
