[Mimedefang] msg_size Macro

I'm trying to get the {msg_size} macro into %SendmailMacros. I had a
look at mimedefang.c. Am I correct in my thinking that MIMEDefang
will pick up any macros sendmail passes it (up to the max of 25)?
I've tried adding this to my sendmail.mc:

define(`confMILTER_MACROS_ENVRCPT', `{rcpt_mailer}, {rcpt_host},
{rcpt_addr}, {msg_size}')dnl

I rebuilt my sendmail.cf file and diff shows the addition of
{msg_size} macro. I've got code (which I know works) that loads the
macros from the COMMANDS file into %SendmailMacros. I inserted an
md_syslog() call into the code which parses the COMMANDS file. It
does not show the msg_size macro. Looking at the COMMANDS files
themselves shows this as well.

How can I get the msg_size macro from Sendmail to MIMEDefang?
