I found this document on NAI website regarding uvscan and redhat 9.  Basically uvscan just hangs and causes timeouts to occur.

Does anyone know of a way to make this work?  Basically you need to call uvscan  like this.
LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc.so.6 uvscan -v /files
