[Mimedefang] Mimedefang 2.38/Spamassassin 2.60 very slow

I just upgraded from MimeDefang 2.32/SpamAssassin 2.54
to MimeDefang 2.38/SpamAssassin 2.60 on Solaris, and it
is running very slowly.

It seems to spend lots of time cpu idle, while it's rejecting
incoming connections

I've put /var/spool/MIMEDefang on ramdisk, turned on queueing
(depth 10) in /etc/init.d/mimedefang, and made sure every RBL,
*Zor, and DCC test is turned off in SpamAssassin.

It's still rejecting connections with CPU less than 100%.

Any ideas?  I'm going to have to revert it today if I
can't get it working properly.
