RedHat 9.0 right now, but I'm starting to work with Fedora Core 1.
It has the updated perl to 5.8.1, will support my Broadcomm 440x network card
as part of the stock kernel, and doesn't have any critical updates yet :)
Most of my problem is that I haven't written a init script before. I am
still new to compiling programs, and have been able to cheat my way
through up until now. All of the other program I have used provided a
RedHat init script. I cut/pasted the one given to me earlier, and when
I start it, I do a status, and it immediately tells me that it is
stopped. Need to further read into the code, and check my paths.
