Look for 'nrcpts=0' (number of recipients is zero) in the log entries:

Nov 17 16:14:37 cbg sendmail[30201]: hAHMEXZI030201: from=<XXX at XXX>, size=0,
class=0, nrcpts=0, proto=SMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=XXX.XXX.com [1.2.3.4]
