Thanks to you all - reading through this archive and associated "stuff" I now have Sendmail and MIMEDefang working flawlessly on my server for my own domains, despite having strictly limited Linux admin skills. Spam is now deflected into a separate spamdump mailbox, no false positives so far and no spam has got through. Read twice, do once!
