[Mimedefang] Spamassassin with MySQL

Hi all,
I'm trying to get spamassassin to hook into mysql.
However, I'm running spamassassin as a CPAN perl
module from mimedefag not as the spamd daemon - so I
can't use the required flags to tell it to look in
mysql. (I have sa-mimedefang.cf setup correctly)

Is this functionality available with my setup?
If so, how do I get this working?
