[Mimedefang] MimeDefang + SpamAssassin on Solaris 9

Yes, Albert is right. My umask was 026. I changed it to 022 and re-installed SpamAssassin and Mimedefang and it is working fine. I have now look at some rule set to modify subject/reject mail if it is a spam.

Once again thanks a lot for everyone who posted their thoughts on the problem.

Thanks
Mathew

Ok, this must be one of those Self Help Sessions. I've resolved the
SPAM Assassin issues. I went into the
.cpan/build/Mail-SpamAssassin-2.55 build directory and after reseting my
umask to 022 (it's normally 077 for Root), I exceuted the following:

make clean
perl Makefile.PL
make
make install

service mimedfang restart also restarted the use of the SPAM Assassin
tools.

I hope that someone else finds these instructions and diagnostics useful.

Would it be possible to write a Spam Assassin / Mimedefang interface.
Apparently MimeDefang finds everything it needs to attempt to launch
the filter, but SPAM Assassin doe not checking for the permissions it
installs.
