I will freely admit that I filter mail to postmaster at my domain just like I
do any other account. My postmaster account receives more spam than my normal
account, and if I dropped the filters for that address I'd get flooded with
junk.
I know this probably isn't a good idea but the alternative is worse. If mail
to postmaster is unfiltered and 90% spam, I run the risk of missing the
legitimate mail that is sent to that account because I'll be tempted to just
delete it all. At least with SpamAssassin and my other filters working for me
I have a better chance of not missing a real message.
