[Mimedefang] stream_by_recipient after adding a header

I need to have some session ID which helps me tracking mails.
 
When a new mail comes in (no custom header is set) I would like to add a
custom header, and log it.
When a streamed mail comes in (custom header is set) I just log it.
 
At the end I have a unique session id with which I can see who sent what to
whom, and can do some more detailed tracking by using corresponding
sessionID's <-> mqueue id's ...
 
I need to know which mqid's are related to the original incoming msg, there
are perhaps other ways to to it ?

How can I write and read this custom header before the stream_by_recipient ?
(I tried and the header I added got lost ...)
