[Mimedefang] GraphDefang stats

Troy,

graphdefang, when integrated with mimedefang, graphs statistics from the
MDLOG lines in your mail syslog file. You should grep MDLOG from your
syslog to make sense of what you are seeing in the graphs.

Regarding the mail being counted as spam, you don't appear to have a
mail_in event setup in your mimedefang-filter. This is covered in the
graphdefang faq at www.bl.org/~jpk/graphdefang . Also, those emails that
are being tagged as spam are also being tagged as spam by mimedefang.

The relay address of localhost might be outgoing mail on your server. You
need to look at your syslog files to be sure, but it looks like a
significant amount of local relay mail is tagged as spam at your site.

Graphdefang graphs what is in your log file, and I agree that what is in
your log file doesn't make complete sense. This would seem to point you
to look more in depth at your mimedefang-filter file and work through the
issues that you are having.

Good luck!

Regards,
John
