[Mimedefang] Smoking Crack???

Hey guys,

I modified mimedefang to change the default file and directory permissions
as can be seen below.  All new dirs are created with 755 and files inside
the dirs with 644.

The files modified that accomplished this were:
mimedefang.c, mimedefang-multiplexor.c as well as
/usr/local/bin/mimedefang.pl

After approximately 1/2 hr the permissions change back and new dirs are
created with 700 and files inside the dirs with 600.

I am currently investigating why this is going on.

Any clues???
