You'll need to set a couple of things in
/etc/mail/spamassassin/sa-mimedefang.cf:
use_bayes 1
bayes_path [/var/spool/MD-Quarantine/]bayes
auto_learn 1
Replace the contents of [] with your MIMEDefang quarantine directory.
With MD + SA, you'll be using a site-wide bayes configuration, so if
you do any commandline training with sa-learn, make sure that the
user(s) wich run sa-learn have bayes_path set as above in
~/.spamassassin/user_prefs.
Also make sure that if you initialize the bayes_* database files with
a non-defang user (eg, root) that you chown them to your defang user
so that MIMEDefang is able to perform updates.
