   In your sendmail.mc file (the one you use to create sendmail.cf), add
this line after any FEATURE lines you have:

define(`confPRIVACY_FLAGS', `noreceipts')

If you already have a define for PRIVACY_FLAGS, then just add noreceipts
to the end of the list.  Rebuild your sendmail.cf and restart sendmail.
