[Mimedefang] MD 2.3 and SA 2.50 how to interface?

Well,MIMEDefang teh fix in sendmail's .mc file seesm to have solved my crashing problem. However, SpamAssassin is installed and shows up with  MIMEdefang.pl -features:

But it does not seem to be called as I get no SA headers in any received messages. Where exactly does the sa-spamassassin.cf file go and what is it to contain? What other config files do I need and where do they go?

Unless I read it all wrong. each and every incoming message should have a spamrating header. None so far have. I know SA is working because when I had the instability problems with MD, a message came in and got nailed by SA. Haven't been able to reproduce that since.

Also I have clamd running and it is not recognized by MD. OS is FreeBSD 4.7

Anomy Mailcleaner is a mystery to me and apparently most of the FreeBSD community. I downloaded and untarred it, but have no idea how to install it. :-)
