Trophie (http://www.vanja.com/tools/trophie/) uses Trend's libvsapi.
Works the same way that Sophie works with Sophos's libsavi, if you're
familiar with that one.  They provide the API and the virus signatures,
sophie/trophie provides the daemon.  They're both GPL, so you don't have
to blow any more money than you already have.
