Well the easiest thing to do is to duplicate the commands found in
examples/init-script with appropriate substitutions. e.g. rm any
existing sockets then type in the command. Remember there are two
commands that you have to do.

That said it's much better to use the script after you install it where
your init scripts reside. Then all you do is type in something like
/etc/init.d/mimedefang and voila you have mimedefang running. After that
start sendmail and watch your logs.

If reading shell scripts is new to you, you can refer to the manpage for
sh with man sh. This will explain the substitutions and various
constructs.
