[Mimedefang] Body replaced - causing attachment problems

I am using mimedefang 2.33 on RedHat 9.0 with sendmail-8.12.8-5.90.  So
email users are complaining that their attachments are not coming through
correctly any more.
Here is a snip of the maillog of a message where this has happened.

I don't understand why it says "body replaced" or why this is occurring.

Anyone have any ideas?
