[Mimedefang] problem with mcafee virus scan (uvscan) on RH Linux 9

perfect - setting  LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 did the trick.

Red Hat 9 changed their threading model to NPTL (Native POSIX Thread 
Library), and apparently uvscan doesn't like that.  If you add 
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 to your environment, things will use the old 
thread library, and uvscan should work.
