Hi,

I am running MD 2.35 + SA 2.55 on a Solaris 9 mail gateway ( Sun E250 ). I was testing the multiplexor-queue feature in the mail gateway
The following are my current settings in /etc/init.d/mimedefang

MX_MINIMUM=5
MX_MAXIMUM=20
MX_QUEUE_SIZE=100
MX_QUEUE_TIMEOUT=300

I restarted the sendmail+MD, but the multiplexor processes doesn't show "-q , -Q"  flags.
#ps -ef | grep multiplexor
defang  5345     1  0 08:53:34 ?        0:00   /usr/local/bin/mimedefang-multiplexor -p /var/mime/MIMEDefang/mimedefang-multip

I loaded the gateway by sending 100 mail. The Gateway started 20 MD process and looks like queued two or three (from syslog), then I started to get "No free slaves" warning. I got the following in the syslog:

Jul 25 09:11:31 earth mimedefang-multiplexor: [ID 616676 mail.info] All slaves are busy: Queueing request (1 queued)
Jul 25 09:13:08 earth mimedefang-multiplexor: [ID 616676 mail.info] All slaves are busy: Queueing request (2 queued)
Jul 25 09:13:08 earth mimedefang[5357]: [ID 627436 mail.warning] mfconnect: No  free slaves

Also where does multiplexor queue the mail.

Thanks
Mathew
