     NetBSD 1.6.1.  I wrote about it originally, but nobody answered so
I made my question more generic.  It worked perfectly on -current,
which of course has a native pthread library.

     Yes, I know.  I e-mailed the person that did the update.  He runs
MIMEDefang on Solaris and wasn't able to help beyond doing a test
compile (compiling is no problem, running is a different story).

     At this point, I have tried all four threading libraries, and none
of them worked.  The last two included ancient versions of resolv.h
which prevent libmilter from building.
