[Mimedefang] Sending of notifications.

I am running the latest MIMEDefang and SpamAssassin on Mandrake 8.2, with a
recompiled sendmail 8.12.5.
When I send a notification from in MIMEDefang it only gets sent out once 
sendmail is restarted, as if it is stuck in some queue.

Any help would be appreciated.
