[Mimedefang] MD not clearing up after itself

Now that you mention it, yes.  The environment is FreeBSD
4.5-RELEASE/i386, Sendmail 8.11.6, and MIMEDefang 2.14 (with
multiplexor).  The spool directory is on UFS with soft-updates
turned on.  "Busy mailserver" at our site means around 15K messages
per day.

I'll be upgrading to Sendmail 8.12.6 and MIMEDefang 2.29 fairly soon
here, so I'll watch to see if it persists after that.
