Hello all,
This is more of a sendmail question, but relates to mimedefang. I am
running 2 sendmail instances on a single machine (in a redhat
cluster). So there can't be a global "/etc/mail" since it is different
configs. This is working fine, just lots of -C arguments to sendmail.
However MSP is messed up... mimedefang can't send quarantine messages.
Sendmail complains that /etc/mail/submit.cf doesn't exist, and ignores
RunAsGID when using -C with -Ac. So defang user can't get the mail
spooled... I could symlink but again it would mess up the clustering stuff
(either sendmail instance can migrate to either machine in the cluster).
To complicate things, sendmail can't bind to 127.0.0.1 for the same
reasons.
Any ideas? Is it recommended to change sendmails notion of "/etc/mail"?
How would i do this? I found m4/build options to change the location of
everything in /etc/mail EXCEPT the .cf files. thanks for any info...
