[Mimedefang] Auto-whitelist for users [SPAM ASSASSIN]

What do I need to do to have SPAM Assassin (which is called from
MIMEDefang), examine the ~/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist?  I can only see
where this is associated with calling in the Procmail configuration, but
I would like to have it called from MIMEDefang as well.

Any Suggestions?
