[Mimedefang] MIMEdefang mimedefang.sock unsafe

Hi,

Its RedHat 9, Sendmail 8.12.10 and MIMEDefang 2.39, just went through the
installation (rudolphtire.com/mimedefang-howto) again, still cant get defang
to start without one of the following;

"WARNING: Xmimedefang: local socket name
/var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock missing" OR

"Unable to bind to port /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock: Address
already in use" if I add

/usr/local/bin/mimedefang -U defang -m
$SPOOLDIR/mimedefang-multiplexor.sock -p $SPOOLDIR/mimedefang.sock &

to the startup, as recommended by the installation (slightly modified as -p
without  -m would not work?)
