[Mimedefang] libperl error after upgrading to Fedora

I'm running Mimedefang 2.39 on Red Hat 8.0/Sendmail 8.12.10.

I upgraded my test environment today to Fedora Core 1 and
mimedefang-multiplexor produces the following error now on startup:

Starting mimedefang-multiplexor: /usr/local/bin/mimedefang-multiplexor:
error while loading shared libraries: libperl.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

The only obvious difference I can see is that perl 5.8.1 was installed
with Fedora. The multiplexor is seems to still be looking for libperl
in /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE rather than the
5.8.1 dir.

I've recompiled/reinstalled mimedefang to no avail.

I'm probably just overlooking something simple but can anyone offer any
insight here?
