You can, but that's not entirely sane if SpamAssassin doesn't exist.  I 
figure that stuffing it into the check function allows the other "has 
spamassassin been initialized?" etc tests to do their work first.  I 
didn't like the idea of refering to it directly in mimedefang-filter in 
case there was a problem loading it.
