[Mimedefang] stream_by_* and sendmail

Hi,

I'm tring to use stream_by_recipient, but it doesn't work for me. The 
message is resent because I put a syslog message after the function call an 
before returning, and I see in the syslog Sendmail that resend mails.

But the mail is discarded and never reachs recipients. In the man page I saw:

"Do not use this function unless you have Sendmail 8.12 and 
locally-submitted e-mail is submitted using SMTP."

I'm using 8.12.9 but what exactly means "locally-submitted e-mail is 
submitted using SMTP"? I need to configure sendmail in another way than the 
default? If yes, which is the option that I need to setup?
