Jim,

Thanks for the reply.  I was going through the past emails, and found 
NOTHING that helped.  Heck I had safe permissions on /var /var/spool/ 
/var/spool/MIMEDefang /usr /usr/bin /usr/sbin (I had to update that 
one).  Nothing seemed to work.

I think that I found it though.  I was re-reading through the 
Configuration File, and stumbled upon the Status file.

Check the Permissions on the Status file (in my case it was 
/var/log/mimedefang/status), and make sure that the owner is defang, and 
permissions are at least 755 or better.

Everything it running well now.  Hope that this answer solves someone 
else's issues later on.
