[Mimedefang] File extension vcs

I've been asked why file extension vcs (virtual calendar) is on
the list. The only reference I can find to it being a problem
is in an old posting to this list, which cites

http://www.pandasecurity.com/demo/whitepaper-filtering-strategies.pdf

where it says vcs is html "which could contain malicious code".
Neither Windows nor viruses are my specialties, so beats me.
I've never heard of this one.

We have a group of campus users who want to use these Virtual
Calendar things so I will need to come up with an explanation
of what's bad about them.

Where does the Mimedefang recommended minimum filter come from?
