[Mimedefang] problem getting mimedefang running with sendmail

Hi guys,

I'm installing mimedefang and having a problem. I thought I fixed it
actually but it turns out I'm an idiot and I didn't. basically, I'm adding
this line to my sendmail.mc file:

INPUT_MAIL_FILTER(`mimedefang',
`S=unix:/var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock, F=T, T=S:60s;R:60s;E:5m')


right between the FEATURE lines and the MAILER lines. But when i run:

m4 sendmail.mc > sendmail.cf

my sendmail file just plops the line right in, exactly as it shows up above.
It doesn't add anything else to the sendmail.cf file either.

I thought for a while that it was because I hadn't compiled sendmail (I am
using 8.12 by the way) with support for mail filters, but I added that in
this afternoon and it still doesn't work. Anyone have an idea what this
could be?
