SOLVED. RE: [Mimedefang] Spamassassin (2.42) not looking at DNSBL

Solved.
I decided to 'trust the source luke' and discovered the
$SALocalTestsOnly variable was not set to 0 (it wasn't in there at all)
so I set it in /etc/mail/mimedefang-filter and it works fine now.
Sorry to take up valuable bandwidth..
