[Mimedefang] Bad Filenames Question

Can anyone tell me why attachments with suggested filenames ending
".url" (eg. events.url) are considered a "security hazard"? I just
recently implemented MIMEDefang (great package BTW) and I've started
getting complaints from people who are in the habit of sending links
to their friends and colleagues. I'm not sure which MUA sends links as
attachments but it might be eudora.
