[Mimedefang] Workaround for broken postmaster messages?

I've been working to convert the servers at work from Novell to Linux,
but the core services are still on Novell- and the SMTP support is... a
little ugly.
For a number of reasons (and most recently as an added-value spam/virus
filter) we've been using a Linux box with sendmail (and recently
MIMEDefang) as an outbound relay. To make life really interesting, the
Novell box accepts the full message before doing *any* of its processing
on it- among other things, quota bounces and
"no-such-user" bounces.
In particular, a number of postmaster messages end up getting sent from
"-", which sendmail quite properly rejects because it has no domain.
I've tried a number of things on the sendmail side, none of which have
managed to get at the address before sendmail can reject it.
I'm wondering if filter_sender can be used to either a) unmangle the "-"
into postmaster at webhart.net, or b) at least accept those specific
messages without affecting any of the usual processing provided by
sendmail.
At the moment, I'm still running MD 2.15/sendmail 8.11.6; I'm hoping to
have a few hours free soon to bring that up to MD 2.24 or 2.25, and
sendmail 8.12.6.
A search of the archives didn't turn up anything quite useful; I want
to *accept* a specific case and process everything else as usual. :P
