[Mimedefang] Problem with MD 2.4 - too many open files?

I'm running MIMEDefang on Solaris 8, too, with certain different
file-intensive servers on this machine, too.

The most important question is:
how many files are open at all?

Then you should check, what application has those file open -- see lsof or
make some wrapper for pfiles.

Also, maybe you've experimented with limits and the mimedefang user has
too tightly limited file descriptors?
