[Mimedefang] comm.c patch breaks milter (Was: negotiate error: version 13 not 2?)

I have been running with only the sendmail patch, not the comm.c patch, 
and it has been running quite happily under Linux.

I haven't been able to upgrade from 2.3 to 2.6 on Solaris due to other 
issues. :(
