[Mimedefang] Outgoing e-mail?

If outgoing mail is sent using an SMTP transaction on your mail
server, it will be scanned.  MIMEDefang makes no distinction between
"incoming" and "outgoing" mail.

If outgoing mail is sent "directly" by Sendmail, then upgrade to
Sendmail 8.12.4 and use the default SGID-smmsp permissions.  This forces
all (even local) mail to be sent via SMTP.

[OK, you said you're not technical... just test it and see if outgoing
mail is scanned.  Look for the X-Scanned-By: header.]
