I haven't seen any follow-up on Rich's questions, I'm wondering if
there is any solution yet (or on the way).

Going back into May/June's list email, I see that others have had
the same problem I'm now seeing (with the conclusion that these are
not fatal warnings)...

 mimedefang-multiplexor: Slave 0 stderr:
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string
   at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux/Anomy/HTMLCleaner.pm line 622, <IN> line 174.

   [ ... lots more the same ... ]

Background:
 - new rh7.3 box (replacing an aging rh6.2 box that has been very
stable and reliable using an older version of mimedefang)
 - sendmail 8.12.5 (rpm used from rawhide)
 - all necessary perl modules updated with "perl -MCPAN -e shell"
 - installed spamassassin with cpan
 - installed anomy-sanitizer-1.49-1.src.rpm (after rebuilding)
 - installed mimedefang with:
     rpm -ta --nodeps mimedefang-2.16.tar.gz
     rpm -ivh --nodeps /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/mimedefang-2.16-1.i386.rpm
 - the defang build detected and used both modules (and uvscan which
   is also being used).

It is all working wonderfully well (mimedefang is great, thanks
David).

But for the moment I don't want all this noise in the logs, so
I've disabled the anomy htmlcleaner call in my filter.

Thanks.

Cheers
Tony
