[Mimedefang] How to run sendmail if sendmail.pid and mimedefang.sock are owned by defang?

Hi, there!

I'am trying to run mimedefand with not priveleged UID "defang" but if I do that sendmail complains that /var/spool/MIMEDefang is not owned by root. How do I get through?
