[Mimedefang] mimedefang-multiplexor: handleCommand: Timeout or error: Flag = 3

Hello I'm trying to put together mimedefang 2.15 and a compiled version
of sendmail 8.12.5, but it keeps giving me headaches.

When I send a mail I get this in the log:

Jul 12 10:44:17 soma mimedefang-multiplexor: handleCommand: Timeout or
error: Flag = 3
Jul 12 10:44:17 soma sendmail[9861]: g6C8i7fL009861:
milter_read(mimedefang): cmd read returned 0, expecting 5
Jul 12 10:44:17 soma sendmail[9861]: g6C8i7fL009861: Milter
(mimedefang): to error state
Jul 12 10:44:17 soma sendmail[9861]: g6C8i7fL009861: Milter
(mimedefang): init failed to open
Jul 12 10:44:17 soma sendmail[9861]: g6C8i7fL009861: Milter
(mimedefang): to error state

So that in order to make sendmail work I have the following line in
sendmail.cf:
Xmimedefang, S=unix:/var/spool/MIMEDefang/mdefang-mx.sock, T=S:1m;R:1m
that it's without the F=T option, because if this option is active no
mail is ever delivered, it hapens because the error above, but this way
at least I get my mail ;).

I don't know what it's happenig, but I'm willing to accept any clues, I
have read the docs, the howto and squeezing out google, but so far
without luck.

The only clue I have is the thread "[Mimedefang] Mimedefang 2.15 on
FreeBSD 4.0 " of which the last message was from Chad Stalvey /(Fri, 28
Jun 2002 10:12:55 -0400/) and he says that after recompiling he was
getting some errors which are exactly the lines I got.

It seems that he finally get it working, as "[Mimedefang] Testing " Chad
Stalvey (Tue, 2 Jul 2002 13:02:51 -0400) seems to imply, but I don't
have his email.

Thanks to all.
