[Mimedefang] MIMEDefang installed but not working ;(

Again I am a FreeBSD noob so this might be screamingly obvious to fix ->

Ok I cd to /usr/ports/mail/mimedefang and type make
It then tries to download a bunch of dependicies, which is fine except
all the versions are wrong!  I manually downloaded the files it wanted
and installed them.  However I installed MailTools-1.47 and it wants
MailTools-1.44 ;(  I deleted the contents of /usr/ports/mail/mimedefang
and ftped the files from the above link hoping to resync with the most
current version, but again the same problem.

make file->

 mimedefang-2.15 depends on file:
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/MIME/Tools.pm - not found

at this point we are on a wild goose chase for 1.44 when I have already
installed 1.47 on the system!

=> The sendmail provided with FreeBSD 4.6 is compiled with MILTER 
support. You can also use the allway updated sendmail port : 
http://www.freshports.org/mail/sendmail/
