[Mimedefang] mimedefang 2.0 versus 2.3 beta 3

I am about to upgrade the hardware of all of my mailrelay systems, and I am
currently running 2.0, which has been very stable for me (I am not using
multiplexor, but who knows what the future holds :)).  I am wondering if I
should take this opportunity to upgrade the mimedefang software as well, and
is the latest release deemed "stable"? 

If the latest is not stable, is there a newer release that is stable in
non-multiplexor mode?  How about in multiplexor mode?
