[Mimedefang] MimeDefang 2.27 Too many open files.

I set the ulimit to 2048 and the MX_MAXIMUM to 500. I had some people spam
the heck out of my server and this is the errors I started receiving:

I set the global file max to 16384 as well. But still at a loss as to what
to do.

Anyone with any further information will be greatly appreciated.
