[Mimedefang] Logging/tracking

I have a very similar situation. My exchange organization is behind a
FreeBSD 4.5-stable machine running Sendmail 8.12.3, mimedefang 2.7 and
spamassassin 2.11 (though I see this needs to be upgraded this week).

I'm not sure what logging and tracking you are looking for, but here is an
example of the logging and tracking I get using the multiplexor:
Apr 23 11:07:35 ny-us-bsd1 sendmail[18674]: g3NF7YYT018674:
from=<person at theoutside.com>, size=113863, class=0, nrcpts=1,
msgid=<D134DF8043FED1119ED000805FD46FBA9F5BD1 at OUTSIDE>, proto=SMTP,
daemon=MTA, relay=mail19.theoutside.com [1.2.3.4]
Apr 23 11:07:36 ny-us-bsd1 sendmail[18674]: g3NF7YYT018674: Milter add:
header: X-Scanned-By: MIMEDefang 2.7 (www dot roaringpenguin dot com slash
mimedefang)
Apr 23 11:07:40 ny-us-bsd1 sendmail[18677]: g3NF7YYT018674:
to=<internal.user at theinside.com>, delay=00:00:06, xdelay=00:00:04,
mailer=smtp, pri=30818, relay=mail1.theinside.exorg. [10.2.3.4], dsn=2.0.0,
stat=Sent (OK)

I also get log entries when the subject is changed. I get log entries for
the outbound e-mail as well, as the Exchange server uses the BSD machine as
its smarthost.

Here's an interesting question... should spam assassin have the local
domains whitelisted, or should I tag our outgoing spam as such if and when
it is? :)
