[Mimedefang] RAM disk

Hi,

in the announcement of MD 2.7, I found the following item :

Has anyone tried such a RAM disk for the spooling ? What was the result?

If the performance gain is substantial, I am prepared to add 1/2 GB of RAM
on my Sun for this purpose.
